These terms govern your use of NewsPortal, provided by NewsPortal. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

The service

NewsPortal lets you create and manage a news website on a subscription basis, including hosting on our servers, themes, an admin panel and related tools.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your password safe.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and your team members' accounts.

Your content

• You own the content you publish and are fully responsible for it, including accuracy, copyright and compliance with Indian laws such as the IT Act and IT Rules.
• You must not publish illegal, defamatory, obscene, hateful or infringing content, fake news or malware. We may suspend websites that violate this.

Subscription and payments

• Plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance as shown on the pricing page. Prices may include or exclude GST as stated at checkout.
• If a subscription is not renewed, the website is paused after the grace period. Your data is retained for a reasonable time so you can renew.

Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be kept to a minimum.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the last three months.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will notify users of important changes. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
